THC has the potential to enhance experiences big and small. The perfect dose can take a meal to the next level, spark deep conversation, and help us unwind. Responsible consumption leads us to discover intriguing flavors, new sounds, and fresh perspectives without miserable mornings ruined by hangovers.
If we didn't believe in the benefits of a little psychoactive time, we wouldn't have spent years crafting a line of delicious THC spirits and spritzes. Still, we understand that having a bit too much THC doesn't always lead to the kind of uplifting experience we strive to provide with our infused drinks. This all begs the question, what's the right dose of THC?
One size does not fit all
If you’re looking for the THC sweet spot, keep in mind that every human has an endocannabinoid system (ECS) and that each system is unique. We all process THC differently, and that's just fine.
You may have a greater number of cannabinoid receptors than your dinner date, for example. Perhaps a low dose does the trick for you, but not for your experienced friend. Maybe it's been a while since you last got high. These are all factors that influence how you'll respond to a certain amount of milligrams of THC.
Because we all respond differently to THC, and have different levels of tolerance, it is ultimately up to each of us to determine just how much is the right amount. Relativity aside, there are easy ways to find your baseline and build up from there. We'll get to that shortly.
How you consume THC makes a difference
The other thing to bear in mind is that there are all sorts of THC-infused products out there: flowers, vapes, concentrates, tinctures, and edibles. The format you choose to consume has a lot to do with how quickly you'll feel the effects and how long your high lasts. How you get high will influence the experience itself.
THC drinks, which is what we know best, are edibles, but they're not like traditional edibles. So, if you’re trying infused beverages for the first time or just need a little guidance, don’t worry. We’re going to teach you how to find the perfect pour.
Artet is not your average edible
Folks with extensive THC experience often warn beginners to be extra careful when it comes to edibles. It's true that food-based edibles can take up to two hours to kick in. It’s also true that the effects can last longer than anticipated when we eat a brownie, cookie, what have you. Everybody seems to have that edibles story.
The good news is that this is simply not the case with infused beverages, which work differently than food-based edibles. On top of that, our aperitif and spritzes were painstakingly crafted to take the guesswork out of enjoying your high. We went above and beyond to ensure ultimate control of your experience when drinking Artet.
Artet's dosage and onset time
First off, you’ll feel the effects of Artet within 15-20 minutes. Our beverages won’t sneak up on you or unpleasantly surprise you. You’ll be able to assess your experience shortly after you’ve sipped, and adjust your intake accordingly.
Secondly, all of our products are sensibly dosed and come with a stainless steel dosing cap. We love sessionable beverages, and have crafted our drinks for folks who like to sip multiple cocktails in one sitting. Therefore, the vast majority of our drinks are gently infused. We've also made tracking your consumption foolproof by including a 50ml "shot" cap that will deliver an even 2.5mg of THC per pour of the Flagship Aperitif, and an even 5mg per pour of the Extra Strength Aperitif.
Simply put, Artet doesn’t come with the pitfalls that food-based edibles and non-emulsified drinks are notorious for. When it’s measured out and sipped responsibly, it offers drinkers a great deal of control, plus the ability to tailor their high to the occasion.
How do I drink Artet?
-
Sip a single of our Flagship Aperitif on the rocks to establish a baseline. That’s 50ml of Artet (containing exactly 2.5mg of THC) over ice.
-
After 15-20 minutes, check in with yourself. How does one pour make you feel? If you’d like more, keep in mind that your baseline will multiply proportionately.
-
Take your time between drinks. Once you’re feeling good, take note of how many milligrams you’ve consumed for future reference. Let that number guide you the next time you drink Artet.
We’re certain you’ll enjoy Artet, but ask that you do so responsibly. Do not drive or operate heavy machinery while under the influence. Don’t mix Artet with alcohol. Keep your spirits high, and respect your limits!
