FAQs

What is an aperitif?

Aperitifs, also known as pre-dinner drinks, are spirits or liqueurs that are often consumed before a meal. They’re typically dry, not too strong, and feature a variety of botanical ingredients. Aperitifs are known to take the edge off, open palates, and stimulate appetites.

When we set out to make a non-alcoholic and infused spirit, crafting a drink in the style of an aperitif was a no-brainer. Take a drink that gets you in the mood to socialize, eat, and unwind, then add some THC? Some things were simply meant to be.

Will Artet get me high?

The short answer is yes. All of our beverages are infused with Delta-9 THC, a psychoactive compound found in both cannabis and hemp.

As with any THC product, just how high you get depends on your body's response to THC, your tolerance, and the amount you consume. Most drinkers can expect to feel a bright, conversational buzz approximately 15-30 minutes after sipping a serving of Artet.

What's hemp-derived Delta-9 THC? Is it different from the real stuff?

Delta-9 THC is a naturally occurring compound found in both cannabis and hemp. Not to be mistaken for Delta-8 or other synthetic compounds, Delta-9 THC is the stuff you know and love.

As the name suggests, hemp-derived Delta-9 THC is extracted from hemp instead of cannabis. It's the same exact compound with the same exact effects, it just comes from a different plant.

Hemp plants that contain <0.3% THC are legal and federally protected by the 2018 Farm Bill, which makes life easier for everyone. The only real difference between our hemp-derived drinks and our cannabis-derived drinks is where they can be sold.

How much Artet should I drink?

How much of any one THC-infused product you should consume depends entirely upon your tolerance, and how you'd like to feel. If you're new to infused beverages, you'll want to start "slow and low" to determine how much THC is right for you and your body.

The great news is that Artet is sensibly dosed, and made for maximum control. Every bottle of Artet comes with a complimentary 50ML dosing cap that allows drinkers to track how many milligrams of THC they've consumed down to the first decimal place.

Our Flagship Aperitif contains 2.5mg of THC per 50 ml (1.7 fl oz) serving, that's one dosing cap. Our Extra Strength Aperitif contains 5mg of THC per 50 ml (1.7 fl oz) serving, also one dosing cap. Our ready-to-drink canned spritzes contain 5mg of THC and 5mg of CBD per can.

We encourage beginners to start with a 2.5mg serving, wait half an hour, then assess the effects. Artet's nano-emulsification technology ensures that beverages kick in within 15-30 minutes of consumption, allowing drinkers to quickly establish a baseline. Once you've established your baseline, sip more as needed or desired, and use our dosing cap to keep track of how many milligrams you've consumed.

Can I drink Artet and pass a drug test?

The short answer is no. Our cannabis-infused beverages contain cannabis, of course. Our hemp-derived Delta-9 THC beverages are protected by the 2018 Farm Bill, but they still contain THC. We recommending saving the Artet for another time if you need to pass a drug test.
