At long last, a breakfast cocktail for all the lactose-intolerant plant lovers out there. Thanks to chef and mixologist Nic Vascocu, we can all wake up with a sensibly-dosed beverage that tastes like coffee and cinnamon pancakes combined. Artet and aromatic bitters offer up the complexity that makes this beverage more than a coffee drink. Oat milk, maple syrup, and a good dry shake create lush foam and a mouthfeel that's nothing if not luxurious. In our opinion, Matteo's Breakfast is the most important meal of the day.

  1. Make sure your cold brew and oat milk are cold, then shake all ingredients without ice.
  2. Serve straight up in a wine glass or coupe.
  3. Crush a dark chocolate almond and sprinkle on top as garnish.
